I was able to live in north brasil for a month, and actually got a girlfriend who obviously did not speak English. Thanks!

The dictionary is very limited in what it offers. The vocabulary is small and the "definitions" are usually simply single words offered in the alternative language. On the plus side, it is not expensive.

It is very good. I wish has more words. The bad is a lot of the definition are Portuguese from portugal, and I was looking for brazilian

Very helpful tool. This is a dandy little dictionary that is a perfect addition to a formal course. I also use it to study vocabulary. EXCELLENT!

I just tried this out in Brazil...I like how you can switch between English and portuguese. Fast lookup. I found a lot of basic words were missing, though. Also, voice app refused to download and install.

50% of the time my Brasilian coworkers and friends state that the words are either not used or are completely unknown. Thus, its usefulness is definitely limited.

I know its a free app, so whats to complain? Two things: --The definitions are on the skimpy side; single word definitions seem to be prevalent. --I was surprised that none of the definitions identify the gender of the word - major oversight.

Word by word translation ignores grammar and this app does not even have that many words!

These developers appear to embody the very essence of apps. As a multi lingual writer and speaker I cannot recommend highly enough how great, and essential their apps are!

I wish it had more. I needed its vocabulary: nouns, adjectives, and adverbs Im satisfied though.

Being able to use this without being connected to the WEB is the best benefit. Definitely a good value.
